FIRST-LEVEL ACADEMIC DIPLOMA – THREE YEAR

Under current regulations, all those possessing a second-degree secondary school diploma (five years) or another qualification obtained abroad and recognized as suitable can enroll in the First Level Diploma courses.

Italian students with a five-year artistic maturity or a diploma in applied art can enroll directly in the first year of the course.

All those in possession of a high school diploma other than the artistic one must take the admission exam by pre-enrolling, with the online procedure, by the date established by the academic calendar, attaching the required documentation (DETAILS, TAX CODE, ADDRESS AND -MAIL, VALID IDENTITY DOCUMENT, QUALIFICATION, TELEPHONE NUMBER) and the receipt of payment of the admission fee of € 50.00 to be paid as follows:

Admissions, both to the three-year and specialist two-year courses, are open until 07/09/2022.

Indeed, the Academy requires adequate initial preparation, verified through the admission exam structured to prove aptitudes, motivations, and basic preparation.

The Academic Council determines the organization of the admission tests each year.

 

HOW TO CARRY OUT THE THREE-YEAR ADMISSION TEST

The admission exam will take place in presence on the following dates, according to the calendar published on the Academy website.

  • TEST OF GENERAL CULTURE – SEPTEMBER 12 2022: An aptitude/motivational interview is scheduled on an artistic topic chosen by the candidate to verify adequate linguistic competence.
  • PRACTICAL TESTS
  • ADMISSION TO THE THREE-YEAR SCHOOLS OF PAINTING AND SCULPTURE – SEPTEMBER 13, 2022: Students must present photographic documentation of their work with any further motivational insights.
  • ADMISSION TO THE THREE-YEAR SCHOOLS OF ARTISTIC DESIGN FOR BUSINESS-DESIGN, FASHION DESIGN, AND SCENOGRAPHY – SEPTEMBER 14, 2022: Students will present photographic documentation of their work with any further motivational insights.

Candidates must present themselves with a valid identity document.

The admission test can be taken for a maximum of two schools. If successful. The candidate must communicate his/her choice by 12.00 on the fifth working day following the publication of the results.

After passing the entrance exam and within 5 days of the publication of the results, the student must submit the application for enrolment in the 1st year of the chosen course accompanied by the receipt of payment of the enrolment fee and the ISEE form.

In the event of a temporary interruption of studies and their subsequent resumption, a fixed fee of € 250.00 is due for each academic year not attended. In the event of a temporary interruption of studies for more than 4 years, a fixed fee of € 1,000.00 must be paid.

 

SECOND LEVEL ACADEMIC DIPLOMA – TWO YEARS

To be admitted to a second-level academic diploma course, students must hold a university degree, a first-level academic diploma, or other qualification obtained abroad and recognized as suitable. It is also necessary that the preparation acquired is coherent and adequate for the second-level course. To evaluate this preparation. The Academic Council approves the admission test to the course. If you do not yet have any of the diplomas as mentioned above when submitting the pre-enrolment application, you must have at least 140 credits recognized as valid by the Academic Council. Furthermore, students possessing an academic diploma with a four-year final qualification may be recognized up to a maximum of 40 credits and one semester of attendance upon admission to the second-level academic diploma course. The Academic Council evaluates, based on the content of the second-level diploma course and the career accomplished by the student previously, whether or not such recognition is appropriate.

The student who enrolls in the first year of the two-year course will have to take a selection by pre-enrolment, with an online procedure, by the date established by the academic calendar, attaching the required documentation (PERSONAL DATA, TAX CODE, E-MAIL ADDRESS, IDENTITY DOCUMENT ‘VALID, QUALIFICATION, TELEPHONE NUMBER) and the receipt of payment of the admission fee of € 50.00 to be paid as follows:

Admissions, both to the three-year and specialist two-year courses, are open until 07/09/2022.

It should be noted that the admissions are all to be considered with reserve pending the production of the original documentation.

 

METHOD OF CARRYING OUT THE ADMISSION TEST FOR THE TWO YEARS

The admission exam will take place in presence in the following dates according to the calendar published on the Academy website.

  • ADMISSION TEST – SEPTEMBER 12, 2022: Motivational interview and presentation of one’s portfolio and photographic documentation attesting to previous activities in the field of visual arts. The presentation of one’s works can also take place via digital support.

Candidates must present themselves with a valid identity document.

EXCEPTIONS FOR REGISTRATION

The student who intends to support the thesis in the February session is not required to enroll in the new academic year since February is the last session of the previous academic year.

If the student is unable to support the thesis in the February session, he will have to pay the enrolment fee in full for the new academic year by March 15, under penalty of losing the right to enrolment and the possibility of supporting the thesis in the sessions of the year of reference.

 

THREE-YEAR AND TWO-YEAR THESIS EXAMINATIONS

The student who intends to support the final thesis must submit the thesis confirmation form available in the Students section, Forms of the institutional site of the Academy at the teaching secretariat together with the diploma fee (€ 50.00 for the three years and € 100.00 for the two years) according to the following terms:

MAY 31: For the student who intends to support the thesis in the summer session

AUGUST 31: for the student who intends to support the thesis in the autumn session

JANUARY 31: for the student who intends to support the thesis in the winter session.
